Untidy today

ain't a day to be proud of
late again like i was
half the time i was waiting
can't blame anything i should've known

on a lighter tone it's a pleasant day
less tiring with more experience gained
got to toughen up and more i'd ask
september 14 my time to go

wished it is earlier i couldn't ask more
my mind is pretty zonked out i would fall

my dates are confused i need to be loose

intensed i am now, my rhymes are back
tomorrow i shall be home to slack
my dates are booked with work work work

it started out late but turned out fine

next up down with leaders cliche
off in a movie, 17 again
wasn't fantastic but sure was nice
other than hidayah, she watched twice

went for pool right after so
had to mac before we go

took eric's van with a half opened door
now i'm back with another gibberish thought

Low To Train

Life is on the low today
from morning till noon till i-go-school
reached on the five and starts on the six
wasn't as extravagant as i expect

outward bounders with a few familar faces
five in fact from engineering courses
the new batch is enthu and that's for sure
but the new batch performed, not to the past

half hearted i was, still braved through it all
caught up with some, we reminisced the last
it was good times, at least with past
by next training, hope we're still intact

a tan, a reflection, and my rain

weeks ago our camp ended
with none other than our full fledge leaders
together with a strong team of seven
it was a sweet sweet ending

days ago we started dancing
with the leaders and the passionate
and some others who were influenced
it started, all too quick

late night dinners and rushing days
from monday till yesterday
the effort was worth a first
we came second and best dressed

three major breakthroughs this year
for none other than mechanical
the camp, the dance, the leaders
what's more than that, a phoenix's fury

my life was done, my purpose filled
at least in ngee ann, the passion undone
a change we made, a change we initiated
with backup of guts and courage

but now it's done, the meter's down
the bonds will be etched, all in memories
no idea what to say, or what to be said

Nobody Nobody But You!

Woke up pretty late today. wanted to go down real early to help out OB Booth! But...woke at 9, went back to sleep! omg. but it was raining! That's why...

i really woke at noon tho. ate meeeeeeeeegoreng. prepared everything then went out at around 2.

hey! i need a good hairstyle luh. so not used to short hair now! now must style it le.. gosh. i should've cut it shorter! then not so difficult. still experimenting on different styles. tomorrow gonna wear something nice for a change.

tomorrow they have full-dress rehearsal! so cute. i'm gonna be down for a good laugh!

back to today, went school and reached around 3. went straight to NPCC and slack around the booth. seriously, i felt quite lost when someone asked what's NPOB about? i felt like i lost that sense of belonging somehow. but it wasn't until some others came in and smack that back into my head!

NPOB has indeed changed since the last time i joined. it has morphed into something different le. but we'll still have fun!

i realized i keep digressing! omg. anyways, time in NPCC is so slow! walked around with mirza, hui shi, midori. funny bunch of people. they are still the same old NPOB pals i met! so happy ^^

time passed quite fast with them around. also met some other camp mates too! xu en joining NPOB! i also know hakim too! no idea who else joined tho. hahahahas.

anyways, after that, went dance rehearsal to see see. something interesting happened! i would say it's interesting for me, but might be irritating for the other party?

i made 2 new friends today! i only remember Li Ping and Yu Ting! Here's what happened.

We booked the room, and we went to get the keys only to find out the keys have not been returned. So i got angry, and went straight up to the room and see if the people using still there or not. i found 4 people there, so i asked nicely if we can have the room. but aparently, they are the original owner of the room. that room is used for their dance practices.

i asked roysten to just excuse himself, and don't care and don't tell the SDAR people because we can have our access already. but i think he mistook me a lil', and told the SDAR people that there are people inside already!

In the end, he called back and SDAR wanna speak with that group of people. uh oh, trouble is here. no idea what happened, but they have to give us the keys. felt quite bad, wanted to tell the SDAR person to go away, we settle it student's way. but aparently she's stubborn and a bit attitude. but thanks to that, made new friends? =D

they are from dance! maybe i shall call them and ask them to come take a look at our rehearsal and give comments =P but then again, would they be interested in seeing mass dances? hmmmm.. shall try anyways.

After those incidents, back to rehearsal. Was good today, everybody is getting familar with the steps, and i feel like we could win already! their spirit is there, everybody is so motivated!

after rehearsal, a few went with us for dinner at Al Azhar. got back just before midnight!

Let's hope tomorrow shall be interesting, and who knows? i might see them again! =)

Busy days

I thought after camp, I'd be less busy and less occupied and can start to enjoy my life!

I was wrong.

Now i'm more busy than ever! Outings, Work @ LDC, Work @ DL, etc.

But I'm really enjoying now! ^^ I have no idea, but seems like keeping myself busy is enjoyable. Especially during the past few days, where I had to go K-Box outing on Friday Morning, Friday Afternoon left for LDC's Excel Leaders' Camp, Saturday Afternoon left Camp for Leader's Outing @ Sentosa, then Sunday Morning left for DL, Sunday Evening went to cut hair, Sunday Night then reach home. OMG!

To summarise,
Friday - K-Box + LDC Camp
Saturday - LDC Camp + Leader's Outing
Sunday - Leader's Outing + DL + Cut hair

Total Sleeping Time - More or less 3 hours!

I felt impressed le! So old le still can do all that =D Also, Steven also another one ai zai one! =P

LAZY ASS!

I've been so so lazy to blog nowadays!

that's because i'm so so so so busy! DL, LDC, OUTINGS, Etc..

I shall SUPER-BRIEFLY summarise what happened.

The ME FOC '09 was a BLAST! It was over. although the ratings weren't to my expectation, but it proved that the first time can hurt, but we got close. =) like everybody said, i am being too ambitious. lols!

Camp MEta was the name, and i think it went really well. at least for a group of students who aren't really used (most of them) to camp organisation, leading and all might be new for many, but i think everybody did great for this FIRST EVER CAMP!

i really felt we made legacy. ;) THANK YOU, MES! (at least half of you guys ;)

after the camp, leaders went crazy. outing for leaders came first, and we went...where? APPRECIATION MEAL then MARINA SQUARE! lols. stayed until so late, watched movie and played pool. it was great bonding time, and seriously i never felt like this before. that sense of belonging to a club revived (like previously in OB, during farrand that batch).

after that outing, i kinda step down and let the leaders run the show. during the camp, they have shown they can auto-pilot and run programs le. the outing really was a great show for them ;) could be better with time management and preparation, but it was great! i think for the amount of time they had, working together and coming up with all that for the mass outing was excellent! great job guys!

the mass outing started with games, activities, and then cycling/blading, and ultimately ended with dinner+pool. again, another sense of closeness! was so great. =D

that was actually just on monday. Tomorrow, some participants and leaders are rehearsing for the Dance-for-FunD! I'm joining them tomorrow to see see watch watch play play. =D

ME Got Talents! ;)

i'm going swimming+tanning tomorrow! hee. then join them for dancing. think it's gonna be another blasting day. hee.

Saturday, leaders are gathering again for movie+whatever+tonning+whatever! i'm not really sure because these leaders really auto-pilot! i just go as participant =P

it begun to struck me how this camp changed these leaders. ;) i'm quite touched you know?

btw, if you think that's why i'm so busy? you are wrong.

In between these events, for example today, and after the MEta camp, i had work! LDC + DL!

In case you are wondering, LDC = Leadership Development Centre. It's a company for organisations (mainly schools) to employ and develop their leaders for better and brighter future! something along that line luh. I'm part of this company and given projects, i'm going to different schools to impart knowledge and assist in their learning and stuff.

DL = Dolphin Lagoon. It's a place where PINK dolphins and humans meet and know more about each other! Wonderful place, this is singapore's one and only dolphin lagoon! I'm a junior trainer there, doing basic stuff only luh. still learning or re-learning because it's been so long since i came work. have to work harder to improve myself!

It's a joy working in both places, given the people and experiences, dolphins and otters, kids and friendly collegues, i think these are the part and parcel of my life. and it's been great opening these presents! a pleasant experience and memory input of my life here! ^^

to sum it all up, my life is so fun-filled and fuilling now! ^.^ i would die without regrets now man.. hahas. suddenly so emo.
